We are upfront and honest about the products we carry. Even so, the question we get asked most, is it made here?

Yes! We sell many handmade fiber crafts, garments; handcrafted wood products, and honey bee

products made here in Kentucky at our farm. We utilize everything produced on our farm,

from “magic” garden beans, to lavender buds and gourds. We are KY Proud members.

Our honey and wax products are home produced and processed. Our hives produce 100% of

the honey we sell.

We also are contributors to the fiber pools that produce products made in the

United States. If you are scratching your head, and wondering what a fiber pool is, we can

help! A fiber pool is an alpaca fiber processing service that

works with farms of all sizes across the United States. They have manufacture

U.S. Grown alpaca fiber domestically and work with small producers to

combine fiber from thousands of farms into large lots in order to utilize commercial

manufacturers and take advantage of economies of scale. This allows farmers to access a

wide range

of professionally made products, at the lowest possible cost and risk to the farmer.

This is how it works: First, the fiber pool acts as a cooperative, in that it sources alpaca fiber from

farmers across the United States to create finished goods for sale. The farmers are able to be

paid directly for their fiber, or given credit toward goods manufactured from U.S. Grown

fiber to sell in their own farm store.

Alpacas are native to Peru and there is a rich culture and traditional goods produced in Peru from alpaca fiber. In addition to our products, we also source fine quality products from reputable Peruvian sources that provide fair wages and working conditions to their artisans. These partnerships sustain traditional crafts and artistry of the region.
