Bridge Day at the Laurel Gorge is a FREE educational event sponsored by the Elliott County Tourism Council. Join the Sandy Hook community for a great day while learning more from Whippoorwill’s Holler about lavender extraction, from Lavender Springs Alpaca about needle felting led by our friend Jonathan, Sandy Hook Fire Department on Fire extinguisher training, Little Sandy’s Beekeepers Association on honey, and have a mushroom hike through the beautiful Laurel Gorge led by the Bluegrass Mycological Society. A FREE hotdog lunch will be available while supplies last.

The 3rd annual KY Elk and Outdoor festival will feature the live drawings of all of the winners for the Kentucky Department of Fish & Wildlife Elk drawing. In addition, this festival will feature a vendor village (where you can shop with us!), door prizes and raffles, as well as live music! You don’t want to miss this one!
